Welcome to Erongo Rocks

Ever wondered what it feels like to sit around a crackling campfire listening to the jackal’s cry as the last colour drains from the endless landscape? It is argued that the Erongo Mountains are one of Namibia's hidden gems. Isolated and truly wild, there are some treasures to be experienced. From the rare and indigenous small black mongoose to the majestic Verreaux's eagle scouring the magnificent and unique landscape. There is something for every kind of nature lover.

You can either stay in the rustic farmhouse or choose to camp in one of the romantic campsites set amongst gigantic granite boulders.

The landscape of the privately owned farm is spectacular and invites you to explore and discover. A network of jeep tracks and well-marked trails has been developed for your leisure. The tracks and trails can be used for outdoor adventures such as hiking, trail running, mountain biking, bird watching, photography or to explore the beautiful surroundings. Plan ahead and book a guided hike to view the ancient rock art and visit the most scenic parts of the farm. The farm is home to a wide variety of free roaming game and bird life, some of which are endemic to the Erongo Mountains.

The farm is situated inside the Erongo Mountain Nature Sanctuary and is accessible without a 4x4 vehicle. It is 40 km west on the D2315 and is ideally located between Etosha National Park, Windhoek and Swakopmund. The closest town is Omaruru.
