Erongo Rocks have four campsites available catering for different group sizes, and each have unique features. Please note that there is no electricity at any of the campsites so kindly charge your appliances before arrival. All campsites come equipped with a gas cooker and table & chairs for the camper’s convenience. Check in 2pm – Check out 11am

  • A 20m² shaded area in between the boulders
  • 1 x table & six chairs
  • 1000litre water tank
  • Running water for toilets & 2 x wash basins

  • Wild campsite and totally exclusive
  • Maximum 10 pax
  • 1 x bucket shower & toilet (no donkey for hot water)

Erongo Rocks Directions Map

From Windhoek:

Coming from Windhoek you travel along the B1 towards Okahandja. Stay on the B1 until it changes into the B2 just after Okahandja. Follow the B2 for 64 km and turn right onto the C36 just after Wilhemstal. Drive along this gravel road for 73 km until you reach a T-junction. Turn right onto the C33 in the direction of Omaruru. After only 4 km you turn left onto the D 2315. Drive for 10km until you reach the entrance gate of the Erongo Conservancy. Keeping driving straight on for a further 32km until you see the Erongo Rocks sign on your right. Here you turn right, drive through the gate and follow the signs to Reception for check in.

From Omaruru:

Travelling from Omaruru you drive along the C33 towards Karibib. Just 1km after Omaruru you turn right onto the D 2315. After only 4 km you turn left onto the D 2315. Drive for 10km until you reach the entrance gate of the Erongo Conservancy. Keeping driving straight on for a further 32km until you see the Erongo Rocks sign on your right. Here you turn right, drive through the gate and follow the signs to Reception for check in.

From Swakopmund:

Coming from Swakopmund you take the B2 towards Karibib. Turn left at the Spitzkoppe turn off by the Crystals Market. From there on follow the signs to AiAiba Lodge until you reach the Erongo Conservancy Gate. Keep driving straight, you will pass AiAiba Lodge and drive on for a further 8km and on your left you will see the Erongo Rocks sign. Here you turn left, drive through the gate and follow the signs to Reception for check in.
