There are no permanent tents, no beds, and no en‑suite bathrooms. If you are looking for a fixed luxury tent with bathroom facilities, this product is not available at Erongo Rocks.
What is Comfy Camping?
The best way to sleep in Africa is in a tent—especially when it’s already set up and ready for you at the campsite of your choice.
Comfy Camping simply means “comfortable camping.” You enjoy the authentic camping experience, without the hassle of setting up or packing down a tent yourself.
With our Comfy Camping upgrade:
You choose your preferred campsite
We set up a Dome Tent before you arrive
You enjoy your stay and sleep comfortably
We return after checkout to pack up and remove the tent
There is no permanent setup—everything is mobile and removed after your stay.
Your Comfy Camping setup includes:
A spacious Dome Tent set up on a large ground sheet
Two thick, comfortable mattresses on the floor of the tent (Maximum of 2 mattresses per tent)
Crisp linen (sheet and duvet)
Pillows (one per person)
Towels (one per person)
Extra blankets (winter months only)
Bathrooms and facilities are those provided by the campsite, not private or en‑suite.

There are no beds, furniture, electricity, or private bathrooms
The tent is temporary and mobile, not a permanent structure
Facilities depend entirely on the campsite you choose
Pricing
Comfy Camping costs approximately double the standard camping fee
A single supplement applies if one person occupies a two‑person tent
