Animal & Bird Hide

Experience nature up close from our specially designed Animal & Bird Hide, comfortably equipped with benches and seating for up to five guests at a time. Relax in a peaceful setting overlooking a bird waterhole, where you can observe a remarkable variety of birdlife and capture incredible close-up photographs as birds come to drink. Keep an eye out for endemic species such as the Rosy-faced Lovebird, along with many other fascinating birds.

Just 100 metres from the hide, a larger waterhole attracts a range of wildlife, offering excellent opportunities for game viewing. Depending on the time of day and a little luck, you may spot Kudu, Hartmann's Mountain Zebra, Springbok, Warthog, Giraffe, or Baboons as they come to drink.

A sightings book is available in the hide, allowing guests to record their wildlife and bird sightings and see what other visitors have observed during their stay.
